White on White

The multimedia performance "W hits on White" is based on S. Beckett's 1966 text "Ping", the stream of consciousness of a person who seems locked in a white room. 

The Text consist of 908 words. White, ping, murmurs, silence, memory. It feels like the stream of consciousness, a train of thought that keeps slipping away or a fragmented memory. In a network of thoughts a primitive creature is trying to make sense
of the world around it. The net is made of repetitive knots, that form rows, asymmetrical pieces and surfaces.

It rises 5 times to create 5 micro-topoi. Each one of them generates a different sound and atmosphere. The creature is experimenting with different objects, carrying along the memory of some melody and words that are combined again and again in different constellations. The video is expanding the net in an endless space that represent the creature’s mind. Is the creature creating the net or is it trapped in an endless third thirdspace?
